November 2018

Bromsgrove practice manager & director, Rebekka Fiorani, won a national award, beating off stiff competition from hundreds of other entrants. Rebekka was voted ‘Best Practice Manager 2018’ by the public, after having been shortlisted by an independent panel of judges. Rebekka was awarded the top prize based on her professionalism in pulling together all aspects of a busy veterinary practice, ensuring its smooth running.

January 2019

Following a successful recruitment drive and steady increase of new clients, work begins on expanding the Bromsgrove practice. A new front extension will house an enlarged and improved waiting area and two extra consultation rooms, one of which will be trialled as a cat-only room.  Work is estimated to take around 16 weeks.

March 2019

Clent Hills Veterinary Group becomes a member of the IVC (Independent Veterinary Care) family and looks forward to future growth and opportunities for the practice and team. IVC supports local veterinary practices working in local communities, and enables thriving practices to continue to work in an independent way, with their own long-standing values, service proposition and approach to pet and client care. Rod, Alun and Rebekka remain at the head of Clent Hills Vets and it’s ‘business as usual’.

November 2019

Clent Hills Vets & Clent Hills Pet Fitness & Rehab Centre are shortlisted as Top 3 finalists for Innovation of the Year, in the first ever North Worcestershire Business Awards.

March 2020

In March 2020, the COVID-19 outbreak changed the way veterinary practices could operate. To help stop the spread of Coronavirus and protect staff, clients, the wider community, and the NHS, Clent Hills Vets implemented a variety of measures during the days and weeks that followed adhering to government restrictions, BVA guidelines, and social distancing requirements.

On March 24th, the Hagley & Rubery vet practices and Pet Fitness & Rehab Centre closed indefinitely. Bromsgrove remained open to provide telephone consults and essential/urgent pet care. Hagley reopened on April 6th for collections only.

July 2020

With the Government easing lockdown restrictions across the country, and following advice from the BVA (British Veterinary Association) and RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons), we were able to reopen our Rubery practice from July 3rd, and our Pet Fitness & Rehab Centre, both in a reduced capacity. All Clent Hills locations adopted new safety measures and equipment to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
