First visit for Poppet

This is Poppet Steward. She came in to see our new Vet Barbara last Thursday for her 1st vaccination and a health check. Kittens need to be vaccinated at 9 and 12 weeks of age and need to complete a course of 2 vaccinations to have immunity against potentially life threatening diseases. Whilst here Poppet’s owner…

Happy tales from receptionist Jayne

Do you remember these little duckings? They were brought in last year during June and my receptionist Jayne took them home to look after them until they were able to be released. Jayne has a number of animals and keeps them on some land near to her home. There is a stream at the bottom…

We all love Chickens

This visitor to my surgery is Belle the Bantam. Bantams are a small breed of chicken. She belongs to my head receptionist Sally Mills and is one of a flock of 10 chickens of varying breeds. Box within Box…

You know how I love to find a box to sit in…well, here is where my staff found me today… I found a box within a box…in the vet’s office, in the sunshine…. Puuurrrrfect!!!

As this month our special offers are for rabbits, I have been finding out from my staff about the rabbits they own. Fiona Vaughan is my accounts lady who works upstairs in the office alongside the Practice Manager. She has always had rabbits but sadly her last rabbit Tia died when she was over 9 years old. Fiona…

Open day success….

I have yet to tell you about our open day and what a success it was. My staff were so pleased to be able to show off our new surgery. I personally stayed out the way and watched from an upstairs window, especially when there were dogs skateboarding around the car park during the demonstrations…
