Claiming on your pet insurance

Direct Claims With PetPlan & Vetsure

At Clent Hills Vets we deal directly with two Insurance Companies – Petplan and Vetsure.

With these two providers, you simply need to pay the excess amount on your policy to us, and they will settle the remainder of the bill directly with us without you having to pay the balance upfront.

Once your excess has been paid, we will process your claim form.

All Other Insurance Companies

If you have a policy with any other insurance company we require payment upfront at the time of treatment. We accept debit and credit card payments, or can help you apply for Carefreecredit.

Once your total bill has been paid, we will process your claim form, and send it directly to the company you are insured with.

Processing Insurance Claim Forms in 7 – 10 Working Days

Clent Hills Vets’ admin team aims to get all Insurance forms processed in 7-10 working days (excludes bank holidays and weekends).

We deal with a large volume of claims and offer this service free of charge, so please be patient with our team. We try our best to complete forms as quickly as possible.

Delays & Disputes

You will continue to receive invoices and statements from us until your Insurance company settles your claim.

Please bear in mind, you may need to chase up your insurance company to ensure your claim is being settled without dispute. Any amounts owing remain your responsibility until settled in full.

We may withdraw the option of claiming directly if excesses and amounts owing are not settled promptly.
