Our veterinary team provides a 24/7 out of hours service from our Bromsgrove surgery, outside of our normal clinic opening hours.
Calling 01527 889810 outside of our clinic hours will direct you to our out of hours team who will offer advice, and may recommend bringing your pet in for treatment straight away.
The optimum place to treat your pet in an emergency will always be our practice as it gives our team access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, and a wide range of medication.
If your pet is seriously ill, we recommend you call and bring them to us as soon as possible. If you are unable to drive to our practice, alternatives might be to use a taxi, an animal ambulance, or maybe asking a friend or relative to transport you and your pet.
If a home visit is your only option or your pet is unable to travel, our team will endeavour to come out to you as quickly as possible, however, we cannot always guarantee an immediate dispatch especially if we are dealing with other emergency cases.
Please bear in mind that treatment will be limited in your home without clinic facilities, and the cost will be more expensive.
We recommend that all pets are insured to prevent difficulties from unexpected costs. You will need to check with your insurance company to see what they do and don’t cover. Our customer care team deal with insurance claims and we can offer direct claims with some companies. Ask our team for more information.
£140 – includes out of hours fee
£190 – includes out of hours fee
From £275 depending on your distance from the Bromsgrove practice, this will be confirmed with you at the time. Includes out of hours visit fee and nurse fee.
Please note that it is the policy of Clent Hills Vets to have a two-person (vet and nurse) team attending a home visit. This is for both clinical and safety reasons.
Prices include VAT at 20% but exclude medication, procedure and in-patient care fees.
We love Clent Hills Vets because we have a range of animals that they always take the time and effort to check on. They are always very friendly and helpful and do a great job.Carl, Facebook
I’d just like to say a big thank you to Clent Hills on how well they handled the recent euthanasia of my 18 year old Cat and then two months later of my twelve and a half year old Staffie. I was a blubbering wreck on both occasions and from the time I went in to the time I returned to pick up their ashes, everyone was so helpful. It’s not a pleasant thing to have to do but I can honestly say having used Rod and his team now for nearly twenty years, I rate them very highly and thank them for looking after my pets through their full and fun lives.Mark Young, Facebook
I cannot recommend Clent hills enough and will sing their praises to anyone who will listen….. The staff today brought my luna back from the brink of death….. I genuinely thought she was dead not moving or breathing no heartbeat…. I turn up in a right state and I’m taken straight through to one of the most dedicated vets I have ever known… luna was worked on for twenty minutes tirelessly Barbara and the nurse refused to give up on my girl and I will be forever grateful to you and your amazing team for bringing my girl back to me…. x xHannah Stokes, Facebook
So happy we chose Clent hills to help look after our dogs, staff are always really nice and friendly and give great easy to understand advice! Keep up the good work!Natalie Hayhurst, Facebook
I had to take my cat for his annual booster on 28/12/2016, I was approached by Barbara who asked if it was OK for her to treat my cat. I was so shocked that she should even think that it would be a problem and it was all because I had lost my Jess to cancer earlier in the year and it was Barbara that had performed the operation, found it, and had to give me the bad news. Jess was relieved of her pain on April 9th 2016 and I have nothing but praise for the whole team at Clent Hills, especially Barbara, who I am glad to say can look after my cat any time she wants.
Thank you Clent Hills Bromsgrove, thank you so much and I wish you all a very Happy New Year.Kenneth Anthony Jones, Facebook
Thank you all so much for looking after Ollie today for his op and to the staff that helped me this morning when the little devil escaped from his basket he’s now back to his normal naughty loud self (thank goodness) you all do a fab job.Julie Owen, Facebook
Absolutely brilliant place. Rarely take my cat to the vets unless he is really unwell as from previous experience I have a major distrust of their motives! Have been to Clent vets for the first time today with a poorly boy and it is totally different. Lovely place, we weren’t insured and you don’t feel like they’re playing on your love of your pet to bleed you dry! Would highly recommend.Esther Burgoyne, Google
Amazing vets, knowledgeable and friendly staff. All our animals go here and if we ever need an appointment we can always get one quickly. Would recommend 🙂Becka Weston, Facebook
