Dog blood donors in Worcestershire
**** IMPORTANT SERVICE UPDATE 24.03.20 ****
Please note, due to the current Coronavirus situation we have reduced staff and restricted services. It’s unlikely that we will be able to respond to any blood donor forms sent to us from Monday 23rd March 2020 until further notice. Please bear with us and we will update when we have further information. You can see our full COVID-19 Update here >
We’re looking for fit and healthy dogs in Worcestershire to join our local Dog Blood Donor list, whose owners we can call upon when a life-changing, or indeed life-saving canine donation is needed.
As well as caring for the dog requiring the donation, the health and wellbeing of the dog donating blood is also of paramount importance to our team. This is why we only accept canine blood donors that fit within a certain criteria. To be a blood donor, your dog must:
Be fit and healthy
Be aged between 1 and 8 years
Weigh more than 25kg
Have a good temperament
Be relaxed in a veterinary environment
Have never travelled abroad
Not be on any medication
If your dog meets the above criteria and you are happy for them to donate, you can register to be on our blood donor list below. Our nursing team will contact you to complete your registration and then when a donation is needed, if selected, your dog would need to come in to have their blood tested before they can donate.

Please note, we will need to Register you and your dog with Clent Hills Vets in order for them to join our blood donor list. This does not obligate you to purchase products or services from us.
