My staff came back the other day with pictures of progress at the new surgery. I an SO excited about my new home…it looks AMAZING! The spaces the builders have created are brilliant and will allow absolutely the best care for all you pets out there! Things are progressing well and we hope to move in end of March, beginning of April. I have so much to pack, my collection of collars, I have several beds, loads of toys….what, I’m not spoilt I am a VIP!
Here are some questions that our clients have asked and the answers to their queries!
- Is there parking?
Yes, there is free parking for our clients around the back of the building. You get to it by turning down the side road to the right of the building~ Perry Lane. We have removed trees in the car park and the pharmacy that was there is now closed so there is plenty of parking for all our clients.
- What new facilities will there be?
There will be drinks facilities in the waiting room for our waiting clients. Five new consultation rooms as opposed to the 3 we now have. There is a large open preparatory area for getting your pets comfortable and ready for theatre, with the inpatients areas close at hand to make the procedures efficient and as stress free as possible. The inpatient areas are fantastic. The separate cat inpatients area has windows for observation so the cats face as little disturbance as possible and are well away from the stress of dogs! The inpatients area for dogs will house standard kennels as well as two large walk in kennels for our larger inpatients! There are two large operating theatres, as well as a separate dental theatre. Also a large imaging room!
- How far is from where you are now?
About a 3 minute drive from our current surgery and approximately 12 minute walk! The new surgery is 5 Kidderminster road and the post code for your Sat. Nav. systems is B61 7JJ.
