The Vets Charity Challenge takes place on Saturday 28th September 2013, is a one day event and pulls together a number of physical tasks with problem solving challenges along the way. The team completes a course that involves walking or running, mountain biking and kayaking. We will be taking sponsorship for our team in our branches.
My staff are also organising a Charity dog walk to raise funds for the Vets Charity Challenge. It is taking place on Sunday 23rd June and is between 10am and midday. There will be parking in a well signposted field off Hockley Brook Lane, Belbroughton DY9 0AD. The walk is 3.75 miles around beautiful countryside. It will be £5 to walk with your dog and £3 to walk on your tod! Tea, Coffee and squash will be available and you will get a goody bag for your dog.
In our surgery at Bromsgrove we are running a competition to raise money. We have had a soft dog toy dressed as Veterinary Surgeon made. He is called ‘Alun’ after Alun Edwards Practice Partner and are running a competition to win him. All you have to do is guess Alun the dogs birthday, and my staff are asking just £1 a go. So please call in to our Bromsgrove branch and help us raise money.
