Clent Hills Pet Fitness & Rehabilitation Centre opened in May this year and has been extremely popular with pets and owners. Almost six months on, we feel now is the perfect time to show off our exciting new venture to the pet-loving public with a Free Open Day Event on Saturday 10th November.
Our new Centre is home to a state-of-the-art underwater treadmill, indoor heated pool and two treatment rooms used for physiotherapy, acupuncture and laser therapy. We’ve already welcomed a broad variety of dogs to our centre for fitness, fun and rehabilitation, and we have a couple of very special cats who have been taking advantage of our aquatic-based activities.
You have to see it to believe it – Suzie the swimming cat
The Open Day Event will run from 10am to 2pm and you can drop in at any time, there’s no need to book:
- Take a tour of our state-of-the-art facilities
- Meet our highly skilled team of physiotherapists and hydrotherapists and ask them questions about pet fitness and rehabilitation.
- Watch live demos showing dogs swimming in the hydrotherapy pool and using the water treadmill (will start at approximately 11am).
- Enter our competition to win a ‘Free Hydrotherapy or Physiotherapy Session’ at our Centre – see details below.
- Enter our raffle to win a GIANT Dalmatian teddy and other fab prizes – in aid of Worcestershire Wildlife Trust.
- Enjoy a tasty treat or two!
We welcome well-socialised dogs to come and look around our Centre with you; we do ask that you be mindful of our dogs doing the demos and show consideration if your dog is particularly excitable.

Perhaps you’re wondering how your pet could benefit from coming to our centre?
A combination of physiotherapy and hydrotherapy can be used to treat a variety of acute and long-term health conditions such as arthritis and hip dysplasia, and can help with recovery post surgery, injury or illness. Uses for laser therapy include pain management and post-op cell healing, and acupuncture can be useful for some behavioural disorders, as well as pain management and other conditions.
We also work with canine athletes, show dogs, seniors and overweight pets on their fitness levels and movement. Our hydrotherapy pool is a great way to introduce puppies to water, and for dogs of any age to come and have a good old splash about just for fun!
Take a look at the services we offer and how they could help your pet:
Our competition prize is a free hydrotherapy or physiotherapy session at our Centre; this may be a swim, water treadmill session, physiotherapy assessment or physiotherapy treatment. The prize given will depend on any health conditions your pet is suffering from and/or if water-based activities are appropriate for them. The winning pet will require a signature from their vet giving permission for them to use our facilities and before any appointments can be made, the owner will need to read and understand our Centre’s terms of service. Both of these are available on our website.
