Introducing your puppy to water can really enhance their socialisation and give them an exciting new experience.
Our hydrotherapists will work with you to safely introduce your puppy to water and help them master their swimming style. Not all dogs are natural swimmers!
Some puppies may not want to go in the water fully on their first go, but gradually we can build up their confidence until they’re ready to ‘take the plunge’.
Together, we can help your puppy become a confident and happy swimmer!
Please note, your puppy must be fully toilet trained to use our hydrotherapy pool.
Swimming is a non-weight bearing, all-over-body exercise, and a great way to get fit and improve body condition. We can also tailor in/out of water fitness & core strength exercise programmes to assist the canine athlete reach their potential.
Just because swimming is fun!
Swimming is an excellent way for overweight dogs to shed those extra pounds.
Our Centre offers a safe environment for dogs of all ages to practice their swimming capabilities. We can slowly help them build their confidence and learn how to use all their limbs in the water.
Water provides a great way to exercise young large/giant breed dogs and senior/geriatric pets whose joints are vulnerable to excessive land-based exercise.
Hydrotherapy is ideal for managing arthritis as the warm water will support your pet and provide a therapeutic experience, whilst giving them an all-over body workout.
Unfortunately we are not able to offer client swims due to insurance purposes. All our hydrotherapists are highly trained so that they can offer a safe experience for your pet. You’re welcome to watch your pet from the handy viewing platform.
We use toys in the pool for motivation but we do not allow pets to retrieve them as this can lead to secondary drowning.
Typically, hydrotherapy is used for dogs, but if you have another species that likes water and is recommended hydrotherapy by a vet, we would be happy to work with them.
Rod, Barbara and your amazing team!
There are not enough words to express our eternal gratitude to you all for saving Bella’s life.
It is not just your profession, you all care and show true love to the animals within your care.
You’ve never got exasperated with our questions or worries and been behind us every step of Bella’s journey. To say she has made a miraculous recovery is an understatement and that’s something I never thought we would be able to say.
Thankyou you all so very much, lots of love to you all xxxxxLiz Curran, Facebook

I recently registered my cat Custard here and booked her in to be spayed and microchipped. I’m glad I chose this practice, everyone is so nice and caring and communicated every step of the way – even asking me whether I wanted them to operate through her side or tummy (apparently on this breed some owners don’t want a scar on the side). I was pleasantly surprised to receive a follow up call today to check how Custard wasClare Foster, Facebook
An amazing vet group which I’ve been going to for over 13 years. Brilliant vets (especially Rod) who couldn’t be more caring, attentive and ‘spot on’ with any diagnosis. Highly recommend.Sarah Russell, Facebook
