COVID-19 UPDATE
Please read our guidelines on what we’re doing to help combat the spread of Coronavirus, and protect the health and wellbeing of our clients, patients, staff and the wider community. A couple of actions that may directly affect our emergency out of hours service are 1) we are not offering home visits, and 2) self-isolation guidelines for bringing pets to us.

Out of hours home visits
Due to the Coronavirus situation we cannot provide home visits.
The optimum place to treat your pet in an emergency will always be at a veterinary practice where the vets and nurses have access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment and a wide range of medication.
If your pet is seriously ill, we recommend you call and be prepared to bring them to us or Vets Now as soon as possible. If you are unable to drive, alternatives might be to use a taxi, an animal ambulance, or maybe asking a friend or relative to transport you and your pet.
Out of hours euthanasia at home
If you require pet euthanasia services at home out of hours, please contact Dignipets who may be able to assist you.

Claiming the cost on your pet insurance
We recommend that all pets are insured to prevent difficulties from unexpected costs. You will need to check with your insurance company to see what they do and don’t cover. Our customer care team deals with insurance claims for treatments provided by Clent Hills Vets – find out how to make a claim.
If your pet is treated at Vets Now, any insurance claims relating to treatments or medication must be organised with them.
