As well as preventative healthcare, our vets and nurses have many years’ experience treating pet illness and injuries. You can trust in our team to give your pet the expert, compassionate and dignified care they deserve.
All our branches offer weekend appointments, with Bromsgrove being open 7 days a week. When our normal hours are over, we provide an out of hours emergency pet care service from our Bromsgrove surgery during the week. At weekends, our colleagues at VetsNow take over the reins.
Clent Hills’ on-site diagnostic facilities include digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, laparoscope, ECG heart monitoring, and in-house laboratories. Learn more about our veterinary facilities.
Acute care
Acting fast is key when dealing with acute illness and injury. Our experienced team and state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, fluid therapy and intensive care facilities enable us to provide the best level of care. Whether your pet is suffering from an acute or severe illness or has suffered a trauma, you can count on us to ensure they receive expert veterinary care.
Chronic & long-term conditions
Clent Hills’ vets have many years’ experience treating pets with long-term conditions such as epilepsy, arthritis, heart disease, and diabetes. They can provide a range of treatments and practical advice on how to best manage your pet’s condition.
Our vets can also make referrals to a network of UK clinics when more specialised treatment is needed. We also have our own pet fitness & rehabilitation centre where pets can work on their recovery and wellbeing.
Cancer patients
For certain types of cancer, we can perform chemotherapy with the aim of prolonging your pet’s life. In some cases, this may only be a matter of months or a year. However, this can be a huge comfort to owners, so long as the animal isn’t suffering.
Bones, ligaments & joints
Surgical and non-surgical means can be used to treat things such as injuries to the musculoskeletal system (fractures, ligament tears, hip & elbow dysplasia), tumours, infections, wounds, degenerative conditions, and congenital (existing from birth) conditions.
At our fitness & rehab centre, many pets with acute and chronic injuries benefit from a combination of physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, laser therapy, and acupuncture.
