Kristina took care of our hound last Thursday. It ended up being a bigger operation than we anticipated but she kept us up to date throughout. She showed great care and compassion to both Chief and myself and I cannot thank her enough xx

Lovely vets but very busy. Took our rats here and were treated just as well as any other.Only slight point was, as it is so busy, the car park was full and the appointment time was not kept. However for a lively and attentive vet it did not bother us so much.

Staff are excellent. Treat the pets as if they are their own. Very pleasant on arrival and extremely helpful. Would highly recommend against my old vets of 14 years who really could not be bothered we left

Great vets after being a user of vets 4 pets for 6+ years we changed to here and would never go back. All vets are very caring and loving towards our pets. Fran, Laura and Steph who are vets for the vets group are wonderful at their jobs. They can always get you seen when needed and never leave your pet waiting for care. Reception staff are very kind and polite, always thorough and know what they're doing as do all the staff here. Really couldn't rate them any higher!

Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff and vet, costs explained and kept to the minimum required in terms of treatment/tests. Overall excellent experience from the first telephone call to the appointment itself. Highly recommend, even the dog enjoyed his visit!

Clent vets in rubery is the only Place we will take our Dogs. The team are so caring not only of the animals but of their owners too! Will was Brilliant in caring for our dog lily following her operation. All The staff are so warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble! Thankyou all so much For all you do!

staff here are so lovely and genuine so caring they helped our cat Sheba who had an injured spine this stopped our cat from walking pooing eating jumping but . We found out our neighbour hit her with a brick after admitting this and said she hates cats. She also attacked our other cat who now became unwell too. Police won’t do anything. Neither will rspca . They do not seem to care about animals being hurt by people. Our cat was sort of paralysed but this was reversed afterWeeks of acupuncture vets at manor vets were baffledHow it had made a paralysed cat walk again and everything else they said next time they get a pet with similar issue they will try acupuncture because it exceeded their expectations and blood circulation boost seemed to help. We did not really like laser therapy because we felt this would make our cat go a step backwards so we discontinued this. Our cat was kind of stiff on her legs after this but acupuncture and physio. Helped and it was like magic.Anyways all vets we saw said our cat was a miracle cat that she began walking after10 sessions of acupuncture 10 sessions of hydrotherapy and physio therapy . Sheba really loved getting a massage and acupuncture it made her super relaxed Thank you to all the staff here for all your hard work and support all of you are wonderful keep it up and stay positive minded.

Took a cat as she was having trouble going to the toilet. She was seen within a few minutes of arrival and greeted by name. The vet was very thorough and said there was no problem and she was very healthy.

What a wonderful vets this is, the staff are so welcoming. My little puppy unfortunately fractured her knee and within 2 days had to have an operation, they kept me informed throughout the day and gave me hope the operation would run perfectly fine. Thankyou to Barbra who preformed the operation you did amazing. Little Winnie is now at home resting 🥺❤️

My family want to say a HUGE thank you for the team for looking after my beautiful girl yesterday and saving her little life. We rushed into the Vets after Tilly had been stung by what we think was a Honey Bee but we cannot be sure. Anyway she deteriorated fast and went into anaphylactic shock within minutes, unfortunately we were on a walk so it was a race back home for us to get to the vets. we were there within 30-40 minutes of the sting and she was grey :(
i havent felt that scared and panicked in a long while.
thank goodness for the Vet, he did a fabulous job of bringing Tilly back to us, sadly I cannot remember his name but we are eternally grateful ❤

Despite lockdown restrictions they were able to see my pet, diagnose and sucsefully treat her, another local vet were only able to offer consultations via video call which I wasn't confident would lead to an accurate diagnosis.

Have used Clent Hills Vets for quite a few years now and would never go anywhere else. Always helpful and friendly and, unlike the practice we used before, will never order unnecessary tests or medicines, etc, just to make money. Trust them completely to do what is best for our Springers.

I cannot praise the staff here enough. We had to have our 18 year old cat put to sleep. Ivan is such a compassionate and professional vet. He really helped us deal with the decision. He very kindly suggested us having my boys paw prints taken as a keepsake and it’s a very special, simple thing to do. Clearly we were distressed so we were escorted out avoiding the main reception and you are able to go back to settle the bill in your own time. I have been dreading the day my cat had to go and although heartbreaking the staff were fantastic. The care all of my animals get here is first rate.

My dog Rocky is currently undergoing investigations for IBD with bloods and scans done. Awaiting a possible biopsy soon. The vet we see is Dom and he is amazing and very knowledgeable. The care my dog has received has been second to none. He even rang today with one of the blood test results and to see how my dog is doing. There is going to be a need for ongoing management for his condition until stabilised. Can not recommend them highly enough and they do not over charge. I also recommend Petplan as these vets deal direct. So you pay the excess and they do the rest. You get what you pay for! Thank you Clent Hills.

Well, where to start.. On Sunday 8th December we faced the most difficult decision in our lives and that was to put our Tessy, a 15.5yr old staffy X to sleep. We came in a large number to see her through.
From the bottom of our hearts we'd love to thank how amazing you guys were. I suppose it takes years to train as a vet but nothing can train you for the emotional side in dealing with your blobbering mess of clients 🤣
Kristina was amazing and so was the team. Very thorough, knowledgeable, respectful, understanding and full of empathy.
We use Special Friends as they are more local to us but will highly recommend you guys for your professionalism, love and care to us and our Tessy's final breath.

We had to have our beloved little dog put to sleep this morning. I couldn’t have asked for better care , we were taken in and out of the back doors so we didn’t have to go through the waiting room , not just distressing for us but for other people witnessing our distress . Liz was very patient , kind and understanding and made sure we were happy with all the decisions made , she gave us the space and time needed for our goodbyes and was calm and kind . Couldn’t have made a horrible situation any easier ... thank you to all the team xx

I rang clients hills on saturday in a bit of a state as a neighbours dove had jumped into our garden and attacked my shitzu. they were fantastic calming me down on the phone and telling me to bring tilly straight down. on arriving I was seen by Dominic and he was great explained everything took tilly away to be sedated and then brought her back to me in the waiting room after she had had her stitches. just wouldnt go anywhere else. all staff are fantastic. picture of tilly after will got her home on saturday

We rescued our pug Poppy 3 years ago now and Liz the vet has been absolutely brilliant with her.
Poppy doesn’t warm to people very much because of her past but always wags her tail at Liz.
I especially want to thank her for everything she has done for her recently with the terrible eye ulcer she had.
It’s all cleared up thanks to Lizs excellent care. ❤️

My Staffordshire bull terrier Lola has recently been operated on at Clent hills vets by Dominic. I cannot praise him enough, the operation was successful which of course was brilliant. He explained everything in a way that was easily understood and he actually cares which is a fantastic bonus, wouldn't take my fur baby anywhere else. also the receptionists are all lovely especially kim kept me calm at a very upsetting time. Jo T has provided the most wonderful care to our dog Florence with her ongoing health issues over the last few years. He has the most amazing ability to relate to dogs and relax the most anxious who come into his care.
When the time came for Flo to need to be put to sleep, he spent time discussing the rationale for the decision with our children and involved them in the process right up to the end! Sarah and Jo came to our home and Flo went to sleep in my daughters arms, being stroked by my son! As beautiful as it could have been. We cannot thank them enough!

I have been using this surgery for decades and have always been impressed with the treatment received from the vets and the rest of the staff team. Over the years the team have treated many of my rescue animals with care and I feel confident to take my animals there. I would recommend Clent Hills vets to others and if you have smaller animals as in rodents I'd recommend Stephanie Greenwood for being very experienced in small animal care and treatment.

Woody was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia at just 8 months old and underwent surgery to remove bone fragments from his elbow, we are in the process of building up his muscles (vets orders) and part of his recovery has been our weekly hydrotherapy sessions.
I have real admiration and appreciation to you guys for everything you have done and are continuing to do to help Woody lead a normal, healthy life.

What a amazing bunch of people! So informative and welcoming. My boy loves his sessions and has really helped him back into 4 paws after his major operation. I was so worried about his progress, but any worries I have the staff go out their way for my fur baby. Like a member of the family.

Will is Brilliant! When we moved to the Birmingham area, my husband and I researched the vets in the area. We’d had an excellent vet back in London, so the bar was high. After reading loads of reviews we decided to try Will Trewarman Of Clent Hills Vets.Spike, our opinionated miniature schnauzer, took to Will pretty much straight away - Spike’s a great judge of character. Spike’s been to see Will several times now. Will is kind and gentle with Spike, very reassuring, and an excellent communicator. He’s really supportive, offers lots of relevant information and sound advice. Will takes his job very seriously - he’s a superb vet, and we’re extremely happy we found him. Nellie our Bernese mountain dog is 10 weeks post op of her 2nd cruciate surgery this year. She had laser therapy 4 days after op and is now having her treadmill sessions again! She loves coming to the centre and particularly loves Harriet!! (And the fish!)
All the team there are fab and work wonders. She is fully weight bearing on both legs already and is building muscle. Well worth it! Thank you girls x

Shadow was referred by vet due to a leg injury, she was a bit worried to start with when the water started to come in the treadmill but every care was taken to reassure her and with a supply of treats shadow soon gained in confidence, looking forward to next session😀🐕🐾💜

My cat Zorro almost died several times, the vets here managed to save him. The care that the vets provided is outstanding, I didn't think anyone could care more about our cat than we do!! They tried absolutely everything!! I want to mention Barbra, Laura and Allun, for not giving up on our boy, and for working extremely long hours throughout the day and night to care for him and all the other animals. We were allowed in any time to see him, and they always made time for us even though they must of been so busy with appointments. It's nice to know we have a good vets that we can rely on to look after our pets in the future �

These ladies wow!! Emily started treating my 13yr retired agility collie cross last October for Osteoarthritis in her hips and Lumbosacral Disease. Through regular laser and massage sessions we have our naughty funny girl back, getting up to all sorts of mischief. Emily and Harriet also fitness swim/treadmill my young WSD who is just starting his agility career. They are both so patient, kind and considerate. You guys are just the best, thank you

I can't fault the customer care and the knowledge of the vets. Just a couple of points that have reduced my feedback:
1. Having never taken our 4 year old dog to the vets, other than the usual jabs etc, it was quite a shock to be charged £193.36 for a 10 minute consultation and a diagnosis of 'an allergy'. (£133 of this was for 3 weeks worth of tablets). The vet had given me absolutely no idea of costs involved during the consultation, so when paying at reception my face must have looked a picture.
Luckilly it was payday and I had that sort of money. Had it been last week it would have been a very different story. I can claim just under £100 back through insurance, which has softened the blow ( slightly).
2. Although it's nice for customers to handle items they wish to purchase, I think it would be a much better idea to have your treats etc behind the reception. It's a sensory overload for any dog entering a reception full of animals without the addition of treats surrounding them.

Sadly had an emergency situation in the night, last night, with my friend's dog. The vet she uses wanted us to get to Smethwick!! It was obvious to me this would be his last journey as he was elderly and very poorly anyway. We are both in our late sixties with mobility issues apart from the distress of the situation and being 2am. I looked for something nearer and found that Clent Hills provide a 24/7 service. We took the little chap there and could not have better care. The lovely vet we saw was kind and tender (Anna), explained everything and once the decision was made that it was time, the procedure was completed efficiently and quickly with great kindness. It was also not inordinately expensive as some places can be. Thank you so much. Nothing will stop the pain and distress of a situation like this but it was considerably easier with the wonderful care.

In January i had to make the decision to ask Clent Hills Hagley for their help regarding my companion Stafford who simply gave up after the recent death of my wife . Joao and Sarah visited me and and gave my girl every chance to go on which to me was much needed support but alas we all agreed to let her go. Brought puppy in for his second vaccinations and all was fine and staff were lovely so that was a good start.
Then earlier this evening the little monster discovered and ate some chocolate covered raisins OMG. I called the out of hours number and the vet called back within a few minutes, I explained what had happened and he advised what the options were. I took him straight down and the vet (Will) and assistant again explained the situation and took him back to make him vomit then Will returned several times to update us -resulting in us being able to take him home. So far he seems totally back to normal but I feel very reassured with Will saying any problem just call them and they'll get him back in straight away.
Very glad we chose Clent Hills and would recommend to everyone.

Will at Clent Hills Vets has been the most amazing vet we have had. Unfortunately my cat had already been diagnosed with cancer before we registered with them, but I would not hesitate to recommend them. Will is always so kind, compassionate and friendly. He always seems to remember us and our case and always has time for us and never makes us feel rushed. He is always willing to talk to me and comes up with new suggestions to help give Sharky the best quality of life while we can. I never have any trouble getting to speak to him when needed as he always gets back to me promptly. We moved to Clent Hills Vets as it was our new closest vet after it opened and my cat hates traveling and is very hostile at the vets. They have also been so accommodating and understanding of this, helping to keep her calm and avoiding adding to her stress and not seeing her unnecessarily. It is a shame we have had cause to see so much of the vet but Will has certainly made a distressing and upsetting time much easier with his kindness. I also think their prices are reasonable and they have never pressured me into paying for additional and unnecessary treatments. Over the years we have been to 3 other local vets and this has no doubt been the best so far. Thank you Will.

Today, a month after I have received a card in the post with some forget me nots seeds for me to plant. Such a lovely thought and totally unexpected.
I cannot rate these vets highly enough and only wish I had taken my dog here years ago. When the time comes for me to start thinking about having another dog I will not hesitate in choosing this as our vets.

Cannot fault anyone or anything. Took my lovely pooch Alfie to these today( first time) professional, confident and happy staff. Ladies on reception welcomed us with lovely smiles.

Well where do i start! This time 2 weeks ago we were prepared to say goodnight to our very special Boy Buddy who was extremely poorly but with the love and dedication of Alan Barbara and girls he is almost back to his old self. I can not thank the team enough, it is their compassion that stands out, the girls on reception all make a fuse of him the nurses pop out to see him whilst waiting for Alan or Barbara. They are without a doubt Alan and his Angels :) xxx

Everyone here is absolutely lovely, vets, assistants and receptionists, all of them so so lovely, compassionate, caring, helpful and thoughtful. Have been using them for about ten years, they know us and our furkids (old and young) so well, wouldn't go anywhere else with my fur babies.

Thank you to all of the staff at Hagley for their compassion, care and professionalism. Podge has been given the best chance of living longer due to the treatment he has received. I first took my puppy storm here 8 years ago, the staff and vets make you feel individual and that your pet and you are special, their expertise is second to none,Rod the head vet is amazing, unfortunately around the age of five he diagnosed my German Shepherd as having pannus an immune system disease,that effects her eyes I was mortified, the sole care and attention he has given her is exemplary, Clent. Hills Vets ticks all the boxes, No.1 all the way, I highly recommend Clent hills vets, Hagley to anyone who love their pets the way we love ours,more than just a vets that's Clent hills all the way.

Koby my chocolate lab had a small op on friday and was given lots of love from his favourite nurse emma. I walked in to get him and was told that the pair were inseperable !! Hes making a great recovery and sents lots of licks to his favourite nurse emma

I would like to say a big thank you. For looking after our cat Jess today. As we had the bad news today to put him to sleep. The staff was fantastic with us. And let us have time with Jess before and after. And a vet came upto me and said sorry who had seen Jess before. I felt that was lovely of her to do. As it was on a personal level to do. Our weimaraner harvey had been going here for some years after being recommend by a friend as we wasn't happy with the vet he was seeing they gave us a diagnosis in seconds after having two operations on his stomach at the previous vets we were told to give him a chunk of mature cheddar and he was fine in minutes can't thank them enough for that...as he got older he had tumours removed we nearly lost him last year but these wonderful people gave us another year with our precious boy sadly he went to sleep four weeks ago aged 13 and they were brilliant with harvey and us thank you all so much from the reception staff kennel staff and vets for being so kind

I cannot recommend Clent hills enough and will sing their praises to anyone who will listen..... The staff today brought my luna back from the brink of death..... I genuinely thought she was dead not moving or breathing no heart beat.... I turn up in a right state and I'm taken straight through to one of the most dedicated vets I have ever known... luna was worked on for twenty minutes tirelessly Barbara and the nurse refused to give up on my girl and I will be forever greatful to you and your amazing team for bringing my girl back to me.... x x

I recently registered my cat Custard here and booked her in to be spayed and microchipped. I'm glad I chose this practice, everyone is so nice and caring and communicated every step of the way - even asking me whether I wanted them to operate through her side or tummy (apparently on this breed some owners don't want a scar on the side). I was pleasantly surprised to receive a follow up call today to check how Custard was
