On Friday 30th September we celebrated the completion of the renovation work at our Hagley surgery. We shared the occasion with a handful of competition winners and clients, including the great Bob Warman, who has been a client of Clent Hills Vets for many years with his cat Angel and Barney the dog.
We were lucky enough to have Bob Warman say a few words about his experience of Clent Hills Vets over the years and it always being a positive one, he then officially announced our Hagley Practice “Refurbished!”. Bob recalled tales of other ‘official openings’ he’s done and said pubs were easy as he could pull the first pint, but he wasn’t sure what he should do at the vets, joking perhaps he should offer to spay a cat if anyone wanted it done!
Our Facebook competition winner Joanna Moore cut the official ribbon and we’re thrilled to say we are back to full capacity at Hagley.
Work got underway at the end of August to improve the internal layout and facilities within our Hagley practice, which would enable us to achieve a better workflow and offer an improved service to our clients and their pets. Read about our renovation plans.
We remained open during the renovations, moving some operations and procedures to our Bromsgrove surgery. We’re grateful to have so many lovely clients who continued to support us whilst the building work was going on just feet from our waiting room.
Now that the work is complete, we’re really pleased with the outcome. The preparation and recovery room, operating theatre and patient accommodation are really bright, well thought out and easy to keep clean, and we can have our patients right next to our nursing team during recovery. We look forward to showing many more clients around our updated facilities soon.
Thanks to everyone who has helped us with the renovations over the last few weeks, and thanks to everyone who joined us on Friday!
Get in touch if you would like to book an appointment for your pet to be seen at our newly refurbished Hagley surgery.
